曾经培养出包括雷姆•库哈斯和扎哈•哈迪德等多位国际大师的英国AA建筑联盟学校（简称“AA”），从2008年在迪拜举办之一届全球访校课程（AA ， 简称“AA VS”）以来，已经在全球各个大洲的50余座城市举办，培养了数以千计的国际学生，成为AA国际教育合作项目的重要组成部分。AA全球访校旨在将最前沿的教育理念和开拓性的教学方法，通过与当地院校机构的合作交流，嫁接出不同文脉下应对当地多种人居环境议题的学术探索，让来自全球各地的年轻人，在全英文教学的环境下，体验AA实验性的设计思考方法。

2023年，新冠全球大流行病终于结束，在后疫情时代，我们选择了生态环境卓越的海南岛，作为AA全球访校项目在大中华区的唯一一站，具有深远意义。我们将在原有AA北京和深圳访校基于数据的设计方法基础上，继续用设计探索未来更加健康生态的生活方式，从城乡整全可持续发展思维的高度，尝试最新的运算化技法，应用包括游戏、影视和人工智能的多种创作工具与表达媒介，实验多样化的无界设计。

海南岛是更受欢迎的国际旅游目的地之一，作为世界更大的自由贸易港，即将全岛封关运作，海南也从国家级升级为世界级的热带度假胜地和开放创新高地。同时，伴随着数字科技的发展，元宇宙、AI、数字孪生等技术经济在中国蓄势而发，海南岛有望成为新型人居生活工作方式的试验田。

此次选址在三亚市崖州湾科技城和天涯区西岛社区。前者是三亚以科技文创引领的城市新区，将为三亚孵化新兴产业，吸引全球的技术精英和文创引领者，来此共同分享海南自贸岛发展的机遇；后者坐落在三亚市西南8海里的三亚湾海域，全称西瑁洲岛，是海南第二大离岛。由于远离城市，海水污染少，岛上风景秀丽，空气清新，沙滩柔和，海水清澈见底；环岛海域生长着大量美丽的珊瑚，聚集生活着各种色彩斑澜的热带海鱼，宛如一个巨大的热带海洋生态圈。在此，既可尽情领略热带海岛美景，更能纵情体验多姿多彩的渔民生活，自然和人文环境保护都比较完好。两个场地交相呼应，一个展望未来，一个回顾历史；一个陆上，一个海上；一个国际化，一个地域化……这一系列二元属性如何在三亚这座城市互映互融，彼此成就，将成为本次AA访校探索实验性设计的主要方向。

访校主题和简介

这次AA访校将利用海南三亚崖州科技城和西岛这对二元相关的场地，探索虚拟世界和物理世界共存的“元地”（Meta-land）概念，如何让“移动栖居”成为可能。与传统的城市和乡村环境相比，元地将更好的融合城市-乡村为一体，其上的建筑物应该是智能的、创新的、可以快速搭建和重组的、现实和虚拟环境相混合的，并与新的移动栖居方式相结合。设计的形式和对象包括但不限于船屋、移动客栈、背包工作室、折叠房屋、组合帐篷、可变居室等。元地将赋予海南岛特定背景下，现实和虚拟空间的一体化设计，让信息数据成为新资源，为人类提供连接城市和农村地区的、更健康和可持续的生活方式。此次访校课程将延续AA北京和深圳访校的设计理念，及基于数据和运算化的跨学科设计实验方法。该课程适用于希望学习系统创新设计思维、申请世界一流高校学习建筑、或转专业到建筑学的世界各地的学生。根据具体情况，AA海南访校课程亦可以出具相关学分教学成效的证明文件，供参与者向所在大学申请进行相关学分的减免。
